About the Foundation

The Virginia Dental Hygienists' Association Foundation was established in 1995 by the Executive Board as an innovative and visionary way to address continuing education needs of dental hygienists. It is an enduring endowment of Alice B. Hinchliffe Williams, RDH, MS.The Fund assists VDHA members in attaining continuing education at an affordable cost as well as assisting individuals and nonprofit organizations in providing access to care for those who are medically underserved, as well as in promoting wellness, providing prevention and health education and creating new oral health related programs. This cooperation avoids duplicating services and wasting limited health care dollars.
